Walleye Stocking in Sand Lake

 On Friday, the DNR in conjunction with the Sand Lake Property Owners Assoc stocked walleye fingerlings in Sand Lake. Lakewood Lodge was one of the stock sites. Approximately 10,600 walleye were stocked from Lakewood's launch. Sand Lake received a total of approximately 40,000 walleye fingerlings stocked at 4 different locations. Anthony's First Walleye

Minnkota Trolling Motor Winner
Char Mathies is the WINNER of the Minnkota Trolling Motor donated by Minnkota and professional fishing guide Tom Neustrom. Char has been vacationing on Sand Lake since she was a child and has been at Lakewood Lodge for 5 years now. Her husband Rich, had just returned from another tour in the Mid-East.
