Campfire Music

Everybody enjoyed the campfire music and singing provided by Steve's mom (marilynn) from Bedford Wyoming and Steve's uncle (Lu) from Clarksville Arkansas. Every once in awhile you could hear and/or see others joining in the singing.
Steve's Uncle and Aunt from Clarksville Arkansas along with Steve's step-dad from Bedford Wyoming spent from 8am thru 2pm fishing walleye on Sand Lake. Along with catching some pike and some perch they brought home this nice stringer of walleye.
Larry and Deb came all the way from Arizona to chase walleye with professional fishing guide Charlie Worrath of the MN Fishing Pros. Looks like they had a successful adventure.
Last Monday evening after Potluck we had a special event. The Fair Wynds Players performed for our guests. Humor, magic and fire-breathing highlighted this year's performance. You can see their entire performance each year at the White Oak Rendezvous in Deer River the first weekend of August.
Professional fishing guide Darin Shevich of the MN Fishing Pros takes all the time necessary to teach fisherman/women of all ages tricks and techniques to improve their chances of landing the big one.
Jim McAndrews caught this nice 25" walleye a few hours after arriving at Lakewood Lodge for his vacation. It is a long week so we will see if he can prove it wasn't all luck.
