On Wednesday after opener 2009 I went fishing with Charlie Worrath as I do every year. We fish a different lake each year as I try to test his "professional guide" status. This year we fished Round Lake in Squaw Lake Minnesota. I have never been on this lake and even though the wind was blowing at 30mph we had a good day. We kept our 12 eyes and returned 18 within the slot to accompany the 2 large perch and 14 pike kept with 16 pike returned due to their slot as well. This is a shallow lake with little structure but when it is hot it is a lot of fun! We were on the water from 9am to12:45pm and caught the above mentioned 60 fish. Fun Day!
