Ice Fishing
Had some guests leave the other day. They did very well on Sand Lake for big perch and pike, did well on Little Cut Foot Sioux for panfish and did good on Winnie for walleye.Labels: Ice Fishing
White Oak Sled Dog Classic

 This weekend we again helped work at The Gosh Dam Place during the White Oak Sled Dog Classic. The Rec class finished at Gosh Dam. The Trophy Class had a 2 hour layover at Gosh Dam and the 8-dog and 10-dog Pro teams went on further north. The Pro Class race is a qualifier for the Iditarod. This is a GREAT event and alot of fun.  Our 2009 Thanksgiving Dinner was spent with good friends Charlie and Terri Worrath at their home with their family. When family is spread all over the country and getting together is difficult we are very Thankful to have such good friends. We hope everybody else had as wonderful of a Thanksgiving as we did. Andrew Gets His First Buck

Andrew has been coming to Lakewood Lodge for an annual fishing trip since he was born. Usually his pictures are of him holding a nice fish or stringer of fish. However this year, we tip our hats to Andrew for shooting his first buck, a nice 7 pointer. (I apologize for not having a picture but the pictures we were provided are not compatable with this blog).
